Essays of Hope

Through writing and speaking about life after the death of my young husband, I’ve heard from many people navigating grief in its many forms—not only grief after death, but also divorce, estrangement, illness, and other profound losses. These essays tell stories of discovery, resilience, and hope amid loss.

By sharing experiences of growth and renewal, my hope is to make our individual grief journeys feel a little more bearable. This page will regularly feature new work.
